WELCOME TO THE CIVIC LEAGUE OF NORTH PORTAL ESTATES

North Portal Estates is located in the northernmost corner of the District of Columbia, bounded by North Portal Drive (south), East Beach Drive (west and north), and the DC – Maryland Boundary (east), and tucked between two tributaries of the creek that carved and feeds Rock Creek Park.   A jewel of a Washington neighborhood, it is beautiful in both its residential diversity and its natural setting.

The Civic League of North Portal Estates is a neighborhood-oriented organization with the goal of maintaining and improving the quality of life of its residents by engaging in city and community affairs. The Civic League addresses neighborhood-wide matters of public health, safety, infrastructure, environment and community development. CLNPE is a non-profit organization, guided by its constitution, and supported by dues paying members and donations from friends and local businesses.

Ways to stay informed and to be connected with the CLNPE

• Add your name to our email list by sending a request to clnpenw@gmail.com. (Your email will be kept confidential and only used for CLNPE notifications)

• Attend meetings, participate in events, and support the League by paying your dues. Dues are $25 per individual or $40 per household and payable in cash, check or credit card at the meetings or by mail. Dues will apply to the Civic League year 2024-2025.
